Social media intelligence firm Synthesio culled data from Thursday night to Friday morning about Americans’ reactions to the first Republican debate in Cleveland. The data originated on social media, online media sites, mainstream media outlets, forums, blogs, and other sources on pre-, mid-, and post-debate conversations. The words most used in a positive light included “immigration,” “Republican,” “Donald,” and “rights.” Words often used in a negative tone included “Obama,” “Iran,” and “women.”
